Buzzard has just "Purchased" another heli from one of our members that sadly doesn't get the time to fly. Goblin 380 KSE that he carefully maidens... also starring Professor Williams and the Pingu. Big shout out to Dave Edwards for selling it to him.

Buzzard is demonstrating that unless your a 3d pilot, apart from the power the flight characteristics are much the same.... so it comes down to price of batteries vs power to weight ratio.

Buzzard purchased this a few years ago when we were at Weston Park Helifest. To tell how long ago it was he had it from Fastlad heli shop which went into administration years ago.

Good to see you out flying again Flying Hippo :). I would check the connections on the motor or esc. Sounds like to me that you have a power cutting in and out from a loose solder connection. Still another well done flight. Cant wait to see more and thanks for sharing.

Love my 570 Drake! I recently was combating a belt slap in the boom & turns out it was hitting the tail push rod support midway in the boom. I dislike the Temps in which Scorpion motors run at, my Xnova 4025 1200kv runs much more cooler and efficient and does not heat up esc like Scorpion does? Same power output.

I think Dale said at the time... including the V-bar transmitter, the complete set up cost him approx £3600. (British pounds)

What is the main difference in 2 blades and 3. I always thought 3 blades couldn't get inverted
Main difference is you get more lift without needing higher head speed. And the cost of you crash it lol

Yes he does want to join your heli club...who doesn't :). Plankers don't like heliers because they don't know how to fly helis, lol...just a joke! Anyway, glad to see some heli action Chris. Tomorrow I take my new XLPower 550 heli for it's second flight after some very small adjustment from the first flight :). Video to come and keep your video coming Chris. It's good to see fun times during bad time :).

@@TheFlyingHippo I know how you feel there. I've got burned on a knock-off 760X last year. I would love to get my hands on an 800 personally. I believe they are still available directly from Align. I loved the sketch though, you deserve some credit for the comedy and timing of the captions on it. It meshed up perfectly. I have a question for you also. When you test flew the Kraken, what kind of transmitter was that? I see a lot of them in videos, but I can not figure out what the heck it is. Any help would be appreciated as I have always used Spektrum, but I'd like to try something that feels different. Thanks again for that laughs.
Mike Allen , the transmitter is a vbar radio. The heli and radio are actually the other guys in the video. If you change to this transmitter you have to change your flybarless controllers to vbar also as they talk directly to the transmitter. It can get expensive but they are very good. I think Dale paid just under £900 for the transmitter and then another £200 for the flybarless unit (Neo).

Good to watch and here from all of uses again :). That's a sweet bird buzzard has there. Almost sounds like auto rotation gear problem.Just guessing.Not knowing anything about nitro...that's a shame the bird is not sounding well. The noise is louder then the nitro sound it self. I hope Buzzard sounds it out and gets it back in the air soon!
Hey, guys a heads up, that noise is the tail belt hitting the boom tighten it up really tight and make sure you tighten the tail case bolts tight as well and check it again after 10 flights as the belt will stretch within the first ten flights, after that fly the crap out of it. : )... Love you guys, and keep the vids coming, crazy Al from brum : )...
Can't beat a well set up Shuttle for some relaxed stooging. Economical on the fuel as well.

Seems like a nice heli. Looks like the size of my Gaui 3XL. A little small compare to the hippo huh but fun to toss around :).
D.O.G. Gonzalez Ideal size for a 6s Ivan, smooth delivery of huge power. The 450L 6s is an angry wasp and you have to be careful as it bites lol.
@@TheFlyingHippo Yeah my Gaui X3L is 6s too and she's a blast to fly. She's powered by Xnova 2618-1580KV with 13T motor pinion. Talking about angry wasp...she's like a humming bird on crack LMAO!
